Tim is a native of South Carolina where he received his degree in construction management from Clemson University (1996). Since his graduation Tim has participated in all phases of building development: as the general contractor (with Powell Building Group), as the owner’s representative (with Heery International), and as the Architect (with EOA Architects). This broad perspective solidified Tim’s team approach to project development and problem solving.

In 2009, Tim joined a select list of professionals who hold licensure as a General Contractor, Architect, and LEED Accredited Professional. Those credentials further embed him as an expert in the community. Also in 2009, Tim joined forces with Kim to form Bootstrap Architecture and Construction with the mission of providing a fluid connection between Architect and General Contractor to ensure that an owner is given a project that celebrates their personality while simplifying the process.

Tim can often be found in the community serving on outreach ministries with his church and he has also served as a job captain on many houses for Nashville’s Re-building Together, whose mission is “a safe and healthy home for every person”.

In addition to his professional and philanthropic life, Tim enjoys seeing his wife Melissa perform with her chorus and spending time with his teenage children Pierce and Reagan.
