20th Avenue New Construction

The design of this house at 1,500 sf deeply reflects the clients’ ethos of using only what you need. Its two-story and nested one-story massing places it as a transition between a 1.5 and 2-story historic neighborhood and a 1-story post-war 1950’s neighborhood.  The “wood pop” was designed as a home office and we felt like changing the cladding reinforced it as a programmatic departure.
